Holy wow.

I do crossfit out in Rhode Island. I came out here for a week because my wife has family out here, right around the holidays. So I see a crossfit and I think "hey, I wonder what the drop in rate for this place is?"

Naturally, I proceed to Facebook message them this two days before Christmas so it'll be an easy transition.

No response.

I didn't think it was a big deal, given the holidays, so I proceeded to call them two days after Christmas (this is when we landed).

No response.

What proceeded over the course of the week (Tuesday through Friday) was a series of phone calls, leaving messages, and - seriously - filling out the form on their website.

No response.

Now, I know that the holidays are an exception, but we're talking NOT responding to me whatsoever over the course of an entire week. The only reason why I didn't stop by is because, come on, why should I? Shouldn't you have done the logical thing and answered the phone? Or called black?

They'll say that they were busy or that something was wrong, but I seriously bordered on creepy status as far as how many times I've tried to contact them.

I've never, ever, ever met a business who tried so hard NOT to take my money.

If I owned this place, I would fire whoever it was that was the manager because they were LOSING MONEY.

If the owner didn't go to business school, they should go to business school. Business school would teach them things such as "when people offer you money, you take it," and "how to return phone calls," "how to use a website," and other forms of common sense.

Seriously - I would have paid daily to come here, but there is no excuse (remember, I even filled out their form on the website and left several messages) why they shouldn't have called me back. But they didn't call me black. They didn't want my money.

Fireable. If one of my employees didn't know how to do their job, that's fireable. If it was the owner... Maybe you shouldn't be an owner.
